MMVS is the women’s wing of our church which includes all the female members of the
Church. The motto the Samajam is “PRARTHIKKUKA, PRAVARTHIKKUKA,
PRAKASIKKUKA”. Samajam members meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays after the Holy
Qurbana. It trains women to have social awareness and attempts to find out women’s potentials
to a greater extent. It trains women to conduct prayer groups, Bible classes, fellowship meetings
and to preach the Gospel. It enhances spiritual practices, observing lent and other Spiritual
exercises, bringing up children etc. There are leadership training camps held annually for 2
days at the Akhila Malankara Level. Annual examinations are conducted based on prescribed
textbooks on church faith, bible portions and liturgical hymns. Second Fridays of every month,
fasting prayer is held in our church. Many of our samajam members attend this prayer
fellowship. The Present MMVS Secretary is Smt. Mahima Susan George and Treasurer is Smt.
Shiju Vinoo Verghese.
